1. About MyTripoga

MyTripoga provides free travel-related information and inspiration, including destination guides, country and city information, itineraries, travel-planning content, accommodation inspiration, flight-search resources and links to independent travel providers.

Access to the editorial content on MyTripoga is currently provided free of charge. MyTripoga does not currently offer paid memberships, paid downloads, paid travel consultations or other digital products for purchase directly from MyTripoga.

2. Travel Bookings and Third-Party Providers

MyTripoga may help you discover flights, accommodation, attractions, tours, transfers, city passes, eSIM services, insurance, luggage-storage services, rental vehicles and other travel-related products offered by independent third parties.

MyTripoga does not itself accept or confirm bookings and does not process payment for these travel services.

When you select an external offer, booking option, affiliate link or travel-search result, you may be redirected to the website or booking environment of an independent provider.

The third-party provider determines its own contractual terms, booking rules, prices, payment requirements, cancellation and refund conditions, baggage rules, age requirements and other conditions. You should review those terms before completing a booking.

Questions, changes, cancellations, refunds, complaints or claims relating to a travel service purchased from a third party must generally be addressed to the provider with whom the booking or purchase was made.

3. Affiliate Links and Commercial Relationships

MyTripoga is partly financed through affiliate marketing. Certain buttons, links, images, travel offers and other booking elements may contain affiliate or referral links.

If you follow an affiliate link and complete a qualifying booking, purchase or other transaction with the relevant third-party provider, MyTripoga may receive a commission or referral payment. This will normally not increase the price you pay.

An affiliate relationship does not make MyTripoga the provider of the linked travel service and does not change who your contractual partner is.

Where appropriate, affiliate or commercial relationships are also identified near the relevant offer, link or booking element.

4. Prices, Availability and Travel Search Results

MyTripoga may display prices, fares, routes, dates, availability, discounts, ratings or other information supplied by travel partners, affiliate networks or embedded travel-search tools.

Travel prices and availability can change rapidly. Information shown on MyTripoga may therefore differ from the information shown by the provider when you continue to the external booking page.

Displayed prices may also depend on factors such as travel dates, passenger numbers, currency, location, taxes, fees, baggage, availability, provider conditions or changes made after the data was retrieved.

Unless MyTripoga expressly states otherwise, displaying an offer does not constitute a guarantee that the offer remains available at the displayed price.

5. Travel Information and Editorial Content

We aim to make MyTripoga useful, clear and reasonably current. Nevertheless, destinations, regulations, prices, transport services, opening hours, entry rules, local conditions and other travel information can change without notice.

MyTripoga therefore does not promise that every piece of travel information will remain complete, accurate or current at all times.

Time-sensitive information

Before relying on information that may materially affect a journey, you should verify it with the relevant official authority or service provider.

This applies in particular to:

• Passport, visa and entry requirements
• Customs and immigration rules
• Health requirements and medical information
• Government travel and safety advice
• Local laws and restrictions
• Public transport schedules and disruptions
• Opening hours and admission requirements
• Prices, taxes and local charges
• Weather or other rapidly changing conditions

No professional advice

MyTripoga provides general travel information and inspiration. Content on the website is not a substitute for legal, immigration, medical, financial or other regulated professional advice.

MyTripoga is not an emergency service and should not be relied upon for emergency, security or medical assistance.

6. AI-Generated and AI-Assisted Content

AI-generated travel images are used for illustration and travel inspiration. They may depict recognizable destinations, landmarks, landscapes or travel situations, but individual visual details, architecture, scenery, people, weather, crowds or other conditions may differ from current real-world conditions.

Written content on MyTripoga may also be created, drafted, edited or otherwise developed with the assistance of artificial intelligence tools.

Some AI-assisted text is manually reviewed or edited before publication. However, the use of AI means that errors, inconsistencies or outdated information may still occur. MyTripoga retains editorial responsibility for content published on the website.

AI-generated images should therefore not be treated as photographic proof of the exact current appearance or condition of a destination, hotel, attraction, transport service or other real-world subject.

7. Destination Suggestions

MyTripoga provides a “Suggest a Destination” feature that allows visitors to suggest European destinations for possible future coverage.

A suggestion may include a destination name, country, a short explanation of why the destination may be worth featuring and, optionally, an email address.

Suggestions are submitted for editorial planning purposes. Sending a suggestion does not create any obligation for MyTripoga to publish, research or feature the suggested destination and does not create a right to compensation, attribution or publication.

MyTripoga may use the substance of a submitted destination suggestion to inform future editorial planning and may independently create content about a destination that has been suggested.

Submitted messages are not intended to be published as user posts, reviews or public comments. We will not publish an optional email address as part of a destination suggestion.

By submitting text through this feature, you confirm that you are entitled to submit it and that the submission does not knowingly infringe the rights of another person.

Personal data submitted through the form is processed as described in our Privacy Policy .

8. Content, Branding and Intellectual Property

To the extent protected by applicable intellectual property law, rights in the original elements of MyTripoga, including its written content, logo, branding, design elements, layouts, graphics, compilations and other original materials, belong to MyTripoga or the respective rights holder.

The use of artificial intelligence in creating some content does not mean that MyTripoga claims intellectual property rights that do not exist under applicable law. The rights described in this section apply only to the extent that the relevant material is legally protected.

Personal use

You may access and use publicly available MyTripoga content for ordinary personal and non-commercial purposes, subject to applicable law.

Commercial reuse

Unless permitted by law or separately authorized by MyTripoga, you may not commercially republish, sell, license, redistribute or reproduce substantial protected MyTripoga content as part of another commercial website, publication, product, database or service.

You may not use the MyTripoga name, logo or branding in a way that falsely suggests sponsorship, partnership, endorsement or official association with MyTripoga.

If you are interested in commercially reusing protected MyTripoga material, please contact us in advance. Permission may be granted on an individual basis.

9. Acceptable Use

You must not use MyTripoga in a way that unlawfully interferes with the website, other visitors or third parties.

In particular, you must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to MyTripoga, its hosting environment, administrative areas or connected systems.
• Circumvent technical security measures or access restrictions.
• Introduce malware, malicious scripts or other harmful code.
• Intentionally overload, disrupt or impair the operation of the website.
• Use MyTripoga to commit fraud, impersonate another person or violate applicable law.
• Use MyTripoga branding in a misleading way or falsely claim an official relationship with MyTripoga.
• Commercially reproduce or exploit protected MyTripoga content in violation of Section 8 above.

Where reasonably necessary to protect the website, visitors or our systems from abuse or security threats, we may technically restrict access to MyTripoga.

10. Website Availability and Changes

MyTripoga is a developing travel website. We may add, update, reorganize or remove destinations, guides, tools, links, features or other content as the website develops.

We do not promise that every free feature or item of content will remain available permanently.

Access may occasionally be interrupted because of maintenance, hosting issues, software updates, security measures, technical faults or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

In particular, MyTripoga remains liable in accordance with applicable law for:

• Intentional misconduct or gross negligence
• Damage resulting from injury to life, body or health where the statutory requirements for liability are met
• Liability under mandatory statutory provisions
• Liability arising from a guarantee expressly given by MyTripoga, where applicable

Where a contractual relationship exists and loss is caused by ordinary negligence, liability for breach of an essential contractual obligation is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the damage that was reasonably foreseeable and typical for that type of relationship.

In other cases, liability for ordinary negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

Third-party services

Independent travel providers and external websites control their own services, booking systems, products, prices and contractual performance. MyTripoga is not responsible for performing a travel service that you purchase directly from an independent provider.

This does not exclude responsibility for MyTripoga's own conduct where liability arises under mandatory law.

Information and travel decisions

Travel information on MyTripoga is provided with reasonable editorial care, but time-sensitive information may change. Any limitations in this section apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not replace your statutory rights.

12. Privacy, Cookies and External Services

Personal data processed when you use MyTripoga is handled as described in our Privacy Policy .

Information about cookies, local browser storage and other technologies is available in our Cookie Policy .

Optional analytics and certain embedded third-party travel tools may require your consent before they are activated.

Third-party websites reached through external links have their own privacy practices, cookie policies and terms. You should review those documents on the relevant provider's website.

13. Younger Visitors and Third-Party Bookings

MyTripoga is a general travel information website and is not restricted exclusively to adults.

However, external airlines, hotels, tour operators, booking platforms and other travel providers may impose their own minimum age, contractual-capacity or parental-consent requirements.

If you are not legally able to enter into a particular travel contract on your own, you should involve a parent, guardian or other legally authorized person before making a booking or purchase from a third-party provider.

14. Applicable Law

To the extent that a choice of law is legally permitted, these Terms and the use of MyTripoga are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer-protection provisions that would apply under the law of your country of habitual residence and that cannot be derogated from by agreement.

Statutory rules on jurisdiction remain unaffected. These Terms do not establish an exclusive place of jurisdiction against consumers where such an agreement would not be legally permitted.

15. Consumer Dispute Resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer conciliation body.

The former European Online Dispute Resolution platform is no longer available and is therefore not linked from MyTripoga.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms when MyTripoga's services, features, business model or applicable legal requirements change.

The current version will be published on this page together with the date of the latest update.

Changes apply to future use of the website from the date the updated version is published. They do not retroactively remove rights or protections that cannot lawfully be changed.
